Our founder, Arthur J. Recht, earned his law degree from West Virginia University in 1952 and immediately settled in Weirton. He opened his law office that same year and was a sole practitioner for four decades, representing thousands of people in a broad range of legal actions. Arthur's accomplishments included serving as president of the Hancock County Bar Association and lecturing before the Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association.
